Dear GOP American Government,

 

You are not Big Brother, you are not fooling me, and you don't have big enough rats. The people of this nation will hopefully see through your lies. We can read. We understand more than you think. All we need is a method of bonding together. Perhaps it is time for revolution. Do you wonder if your abuse of the republican (little "r") system of rule of law may cause an uprise. You cannot bully the world with nukes and threat of war. It didn't work for this guy. Do you know what is causing the rise of terrorism? Forcing the Islamic states to be without WMDs. That sounds horrible, but look at it from a third person perspective. If the biggest baddest guy in town walks around with a machine gun aimed at all of his opponents, people do what he says... to a point. At that point the freedom loving part of humanity as a society fights back, and when they fight they're going to do it in the safest way possible. The way that keeps them out of the crosshairs of your machine gun. If you won't let them fairly arm (if you don't ensure MAD), then you cannot expect them to fairly fight.

 

This assuming that you are not doing it yourself. I like Julia believe that you are creating the war yourself, instigating it, or purposely allowing events to happen. That this is a tool of political power.

 

I hope that history proves me wrong.

Bush is a genius. Never think that he is stupid. He has read 60 books this year. He follows the strategy of Sun Tsu. He makes his greatest strength look like his greatest weakness, and vice versa. He acts stupid gives speaches on staying the course. He is actually quite horrible at staying the course. John Dilulio, the first person to serve as head of Faith Based initiatives wrote a great essay (the name of which I can't remember or I'd link you) about how for the first three weeks Bush was very excited and they got much done. After that though, Bush became uninterested and later ignored him. Why? Because Bush can't stay the course.

 

This plane today is at the time of this posting unrelated to terrorism... because that's just too trite, but the timing is too perfect.

I just noticed my double think above. I think that the American Elite and Class pulled of nine eleven, but I still make attacks at the GOP for their treatment of terror. Although I think Frist has the best plan so far, give them elected seats where they will have to move to center for votes.
